About The Position

Anywhere Talent is seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor who understands current social media trends, tools, and editing styles, especially for Instagram Reels and other short-form viral content. The role involves producing high-performing video assets designed to increase audience retention, engagement, and shareability, as well as editing long-form podcast episodes and short highlight clips. The editor will collaborate with the team on creative ideas and content performance. The position is remote. Anywhere Talent describes itself as an equal opportunity workplace.

Requirements

• Proven experience editing viral short-form content; a portfolio is required.
• Strong understanding of current Instagram and TikTok trends, formats, and audience behavior.
• Ability to edit podcasts professionally, including audio cleanup, multi-camera synchronization, and storytelling flow.
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing tools.
• Strong skills in 2D animation and motion graphics, especially for reel-style content.
• Ability to create engaging captions, subtitles, and on-screen graphics.
• Ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines.
• Deep understanding of attention, retention, and virality.

• Basic knowledge of storytelling and marketing psychology.

Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality short-form videos for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts using viral-style techniques such as fast-paced cuts, hooks, captions, transitions, and sound effects.
• Edit long-form podcast content into polished full episodes and engaging short highlight clips.
• Create visually appealing edits that increase retention, engagement, and shareability.
• Collaborate with the team to develop creative ideas and improve content performance.
• Create engaging captions, subtitles, and on-screen graphics.
