About The Position
David Yurman is hiring a Video Editor Intern for its Summer 2027 Internship Program in New York City. This paid, nine-week immersive experience offers students and emerging professionals exposure to the luxury jewelry industry, hands-on work with expert teams, mentorship, networking events, and industry insights. The internship dates are June 7 through August 6, 2027. The role works with the E-Commerce video team and reports to the Video Editor. The work location is New York, NY, on a hybrid basis.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in undergraduate studies in a related field, such as Film & Video Production.
- Minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Working proficiency with Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Media Encoder.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive, eager-to-learn, and collaborative approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Working experience with an NLE; DaVinci Resolve is preferred.
- Flame or Nuke experience.
Responsibilities
- Ingest and tag footage daily.
- Manage assets and follow project setup, organization, and archiving best practices.
- Create assistant-editor-level edits, assemblies, and stringouts, from rough cuts through light color work.
- Focus on product color and retouching.
- Follow color best practices as they relate to the team’s workflow.
