The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Victim Advocate II. This vital role provides essential support services to victims and witnesses throughout the criminal justice process. A Detention Victim Advocate provides support, information, and services to victims of crime whose offenders are currently detained or involved in the detention system. We are committed to providing a supportive and respectful environment for those we serve. The location for this position is in the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center. The process includes, but is not limited to the following: Nelson Denny Reading Comprehensive Test Background investigation including a credit check In-person panel interview Polygraph examination Psychological examination/evaluation Two-Part pre-employment physical examination SALARY RANGE: $52,832 TO $60,112 (Estimated Annual Salary) APPLICATION DEADLINE: SUNDAY 9 AUGUST 2026.
