About The Position

The Medicaid Fraud & Patient Abuse Division is seeking a part‑time Victim Services & Outreach Coordinator to provide trauma‑informed support to victims, coordinate community outreach, and assist with program operations. This role offers a mix of direct victim advocacy, event and partnership coordination, and administrative support to strengthen services within the division. This role is ideal for a highly organized, compassionate professional with strong communication skills and experience in social services, outreach, or victim support work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • At least two years of experience in victim advocacy, social services, outreach, or related support roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide trauma-informed support and crisis intervention to victims.
  • Familiarity with legal processes, safety planning, and case management for victims of crime.
  • Strong organizational skills, with experience coordinating events, managing partnerships, and handling administrative tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with diverse community partners.
  • Proficiency with documentation, reporting, and technical guidance for staff and grant-related duties.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a dynamic office environment.
  • Must be able to travel for outreach events and community partnership meetings as needed.
  • Must successfully pass a criminal history check.
