About The Position
We are looking for a dynamic educational leader to assume the role of Vice Principal for Franklin High School. Responsibilities would include assisting the Principal in carrying out any duties including the supervision and evaluation of professional and support staff.
Requirements
- Valid New Jersey Principal Certificate
- Demonstrated successful teaching experience
- Strong knowledge of instruction, assessment, supervision and evaluation of teacher growth and student achievement
- Excellent communication skills
- Well versed with NJSLS, State Assessments and data analysis
- Knowledge of the instruction of English Language Learners, bilingual education, special education and secondary education
- Proficiency in computer applications pertinent to support the position, including but not limited Google Suite, IEP software program and Genesis Employee Portal and Student Information System.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with the Danielson Framework
- Experience with Positive Behavior Systems
- Spanish speaking
- Ability to use instructional technology
