About The Position

Morgan Stanley's Fixed Income Division, specifically the Securitized Products Group, is seeking a Vice President with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in ABS Lending, Capital Markets ABS, Structured Finance, or a related field. Relevant asset classes may include digital infrastructure, esoterics, transportation, consumer, or core infrastructure. The role involves direct client interaction and collaboration with capital markets, investment banking, asset management, credit, and syndication teams to pitch, structure, and execute transactions.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in ABS Lending or Structured Finance.
Strong oral/written communication skills and presentation skills.
Comfort and familiarity with legal documentation and securitization structures is required.
Ability to operate collaboratively within a team and train junior team members.
Creative and strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented mind-set.
An undergraduate degree is required.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with investment banking and capital markets coverage partners to originate transactions that fit Morgan Stanley’s risk and return appetite.
Cover all aspects of the ABS lending transaction process, including origination, negotiation of key terms, structuring, credit analysis, and closing.
Manage the workflow and development of junior team members, and assist senior team members in strategic growth of the platform.
Work with internal and external counterparts including clients, credit partners, accounting firms, legal counsel, and others to execute on all aspects of ABS lending transactions.
