About The Position

A G2 Vice-President is involved in every step of our processes and will conduct industry deep-dives to map new sub-sectors and identify areas of potential value. They will develop and own thematic investment theses aligned with G2’s focus areas, source and evaluate deals by building a pipeline of promising opportunities, and lead diligence workstreams, including market analysis, competitive benchmarking, financial modeling, and technology assessments. The role involves driving investment memos and presentations, preparing and defending recommendations during Investment Committee discussions, and supporting portfolio companies post-investment through strategic projects and operational support, often as active Board Observers. Additionally, the Vice-President will build and leverage a strong network of founders, investors, and industry experts to enhance sourcing and diligence efforts, and represent G2 externally at conferences, demo days, and other industry events. Requirements

  • At least four years of work experience requiring critical analysis of business models and financial projections.
  • Investing, banking, or consulting experience preferred
  • Established record as a curious “self-starter”
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent analytical reasoning, and an ability to present complex ideas and information in simple, persuasive form, both written and oral
  • Genuine passion for investing, the entrepreneurial process, and sustainability
  • Desire to be a connector / develop a robust network, and work in a collaborative, trust-based team environment
  • Professional and personal maturity that demonstrates unquestionable integrity and sound business instincts
