About The Position

The Vice President, Wealth Management Technology is a senior technology leader responsible for the strategy, architecture, roadmap, and delivery of Wealth Management technology platforms supporting Financial Advisors, Branch Associates, and Home Office users. This role leads the development and modernization of advisor first, scalable, and regulatory compliant platforms across core Wealth Management capabilities, including Product Catalog, Portfolio Management, Proposal Generation, Rebalancing, Client Reporting, Goal / Financial Planning, and External Account Aggregation. The position works closely with Product Management, Architecture, Data, AI, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Business partners, serving as a trusted technology leader to drive business outcomes, platform modernization, and delivery excellence. Ideal candidates will have progressed organically from hands on application development into architecture and/or engineering leadership roles, while remaining closely connected to code, system design, and business context, with a strong ownership mindset and a continuous improvement orientation. This position follows our hybrid-friendly schedule, so you get the best of both worlds – flexibility and collaboration. In office days will be 2-3 per week averaging 10-12 days per month in our St Petersburg, FL Corporate Office. Please note: This role is not eligible for Work Visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of technology experience in financial services, including senior leadership roles
  • Proven experience delivering large‑scale application development and modernization initiatives
  • Experience supporting advisor‑facing or client‑facing platforms in Wealth Management or related domains
  • Enterprise application architecture and large‑scale delivery leadership
  • Strong understanding of Wealth Management domain
  • Experience driving engineering standards, automation, CI/CD, and AI‑enabled SDLC practices
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders with clear, outcome‑focused communication
  • Bachelor’s: Computer and Information Science (Required)
  • Bachelor’s: Data Science
  • Bachelor’s: Information Technology
  • General Experience - More than 15 years
  • Manager Experience - 10 to 15 years

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the long‑term technology strategy and target architecture for Wealth Management platform
  • Own and evolve the application roadmap, prioritizing initiatives that modernize legacy systems and improve advisor experience
  • Ensure platforms are scalable, configurable, and aligned with enterprise technology standards
  • Translate business and product strategy into clear, executable technology outcomes
  • Partner with Product leadership to move initiatives from pilot or beta into firm‑wide adoption
  • Champion an advisor‑centric, end‑to‑end user experience mindset.
  • Own end‑to‑end accountability for delivery, production stability, and platform reliability.
  • Provide senior leadership and governance across a portfolio of concurrent initiatives with recurring release cycles.
  • Drive predictable delivery through clear ownership, milestones, early risk identification, and dependency management
  • Lead platform modernization initiatives including cloud adoption, service‑based architectures, API enablement, and UI modernization
  • Establish and enforce engineering standards to improve scalability, reliability, and maintainability
  • Balance delivery speed with quality by embedding automation and AI‑enabled SDLC practices, including development and testing techniques that improve delivery velocity, code quality, and team productivity.
  • Serve as a technology advisor to senior leaders, connecting technology initiatives to measurable business outcomes
  • Partner with Architecture, Data, Security, and Infrastructure teams to proactively remove delivery friction
  • Evaluate and manage third‑party vendors and platforms
  • Provide concise, executive‑level updates that drive alignment and informed decision‑making
  • Lead and develop a multi‑layered organization of technology leaders and delivery teams
  • Coach leaders to scale impact through effective execution, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement.
