About The Position

Orbis Operations is building its international and commercial business, and the Vice President, Technical Solutions serves as its principal technical authority. The role shapes, wins, and provides accountability for complex technology programs for allied-nation, coalition, and commercial clients, owning engagements from solution design through sustained operations. It provides technical judgment to drive client outcomes and firm growth by translating Orbis’s capabilities into client needs and delivering on commitments. The position requires recent, relevant operational experience with problems involving data access and sharing across boundaries, and the ability to discuss current mission problems, clients, and technology from firsthand experience. The role involves 30–40% global travel, CONUS and OCONUS, frequently on short notice, including travel to austere or non-permissive locations. Orbis describes its work as delivering sovereign intelligence and decision capabilities to the United States Government and its allies. It emphasizes producing working capability rather than consulting deliverables. Orbis works in arrangements determined by mission requirements, which may include customer sites, offices, hybrid schedules, or remote work; the specific arrangement for this role is not stated.
