We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Product Owner to join our Enterprise Custody Services – Tax team. This role is located in New York City, NY.

Requirements

7 plus years of relevant experience within financial services.
Experience operating within a complex, highly regulated environment with a strong grasp of compliance and operational risk frameworks.
A good understanding of Tax Information Reporting and Withholding (e.g., 1446f, FATCA, NRA, BUW, 8966 Reporting).
Proficient in IRS Tax forms, due diligence, and various tax onboarding, withholding reporting requirements.
Experience with the agile development process to ensure change requests are managed into backlogs and delivered quickly with the precise end to end testing.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate business and technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform business and product decisions.
Experience working with Technology and third-party developers.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Prince2 certification.

Responsibilities

Lead the product development for our eW9/eW8 Hub which includes requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
Develop, communicate and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
Manage and oversee end-to-end project management activities such as project planning, issue/risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, client management, relationship management and other project documentation preparation for projects of medium to high complexity.
Technical experience with APIs, Kafka messaging and its impact on tax onboarding and tax withholding on U.S. domestic payments.
Ability to work with and provide guidance to colleagues within and across PODs.
Strong understanding of clients’ needs and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experience as well as staying on top of the latest technological trends and innovations in financial services.
Collaborate with business stakeholders including US Tax Product, Tax, Tax Operations, Technology, Relationship Managers to understand and document current and future state of tax functions/processes.
