Vice President - Strategy and Execution
About The Position
Chase Auto Commercial Solutions provides commercial banking solutions to auto dealers, including Treasury Services, floorplan, real estate and acquisition financing, liquidity management, and other banking solutions. The Vice President will lead the business growth strategic agenda and drive end-to-end delivery of priority initiatives. The role is accountable for building a data- and consensus-driven strategy that shapes the future of the Commercial Solutions team and for taking strategic initiatives from concept through execution. The VP oversees project delivery, stakeholder alignment, and execution across multiple teams and lines of business. The position reports to the Head of Strategic Business Management, Chase Auto Commercial Solutions, and serves as a day-to-day advisor to senior leaders. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious and comfortable handling complex, cross-functional projects that advance business growth and collaboration. They adapt to changing business needs and work across a range of strategic priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in strategy, consulting, business management, or growth roles.
- Demonstrated experience building data-driven strategies with clear recommendations and narratives.
- Strong data analysis skills, including at least 3 years conducting quantitative analysis and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Ability to use data and directional feedback to structure complex problems and make decisions.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with experience collaborating across teams and influencing diverse stakeholders in complex organizations.
- Ability to simplify complex subject matter into digestible executive communications and develop executive presentations, with advanced proficiency in MS PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High personal initiative and comfort operating amid ambiguity, with entrepreneurial leadership, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to learn new subjects quickly.
Nice To Haves
- At least 3 years of post-MBA experience.
- Consulting experience, especially strategy-to-execution work.

Responsibilities
- Solve open-ended, ambiguous business and strategic problems for Commercial Solutions and Chase Auto.
- Build clear, data-, hypothesis-, and consensus-driven strategies, including recommendations and narratives.
- Structure and drive cross-functional strategic projects from discovery through execution by organizing teams, scoping requirements, facilitating productive meetings, surfacing risks with clear asks and options, and quantifying impact.
- Translate qualitative and quantitative insights into actionable executive recommendations.
- Monitor market and competitor trends and translate insights into recommendations.
- Proactively identify issues and actionable opportunities, adapting project plans while considering implications for the project and broader business strategy.
- Collaborate with and influence stakeholders across functions, including product, finance, tax, legal, marketing, risk, and data analytics.
- Develop and deliver senior-level communications that simplify complex subject matter into clear, compelling narratives tailored to the audience.
- Share best practices, coach team members, and contribute to building overall team capabilities.
