Requirements

  • 10 plus years of accounting background with experience closing the books
  • 10 plus years of experience making presentations and the ability to demonstrate strong presentations skills
  • Proven experience with pre-sales of SaaS software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate ability to build relationships and trust with prospects, clients and staff
  • Strong ability to demonstrate and persuade using influencing skills and relating to customers in a consultative manner without being pushy or twisting arms
  • Proven ability to handle customer objections and addresses them effectively
  • Strong ability to translate how the products apply to the customer's business and their needs
  • Be a motivated self-starter
  • Previous supervisory/management experience required

Responsibilities

  • Directly lead, manage, and provide thought leadership on training for Global Solutions Consulting staff in becoming experts in the Company's software and their ability to perform demonstrations of all the Company's accounting modules to prospective and current customers.
  • Supervise Global Solutions Consultants as they support the field sales and account management teams and their development of positive and effective relationships with prospective and current clients and internal departments to insure client expectations are exceeded and ultimately, sales opportunities are won.
  • Lead , manage and train all Global Solutions Consultants
  • Keep current on new product functionality and its proper use
  • Coordinate Global SC Department workflow, assign project tasks as needed
  • Supervise Global SC Department's support of the field sales and account management teams through answering prospect technical, software and accounting questions
  • Lead Global SC Department's performance of œneeds analysis calls� on prospective and current clients to ensure that BlackLine understands their challenges thoroughly and accurately to enable BlackLine associates to deliver relevant and pertinent demonstrations
  • LeadGlobal SC Department's performance of quality demonstrations to the Company's prospective and current clients through webinars, on-site presentations and trials
  • Assist in the training of and procedures to adhere to for all International Solutions Consultants
  • Provide effective standard and custom demonstrations to prospective and current clients as needed
  • Provide relevant and accurate BlackLine best practices, use case scenarios and client stories both internally and externally (including community) to assist prospects and clients with expanded view of application functionality
  • Provide coverage, education, and application expertise by actively participating in and supervising Global SC Department's participation in prospect roundtables, client conferences and other events
  • Document relevant activities in Salesforce and other tools as assigned
  • Provide feedback to Product Management team related to new functionality specifications and updates to demo database
  • Provide feedback to various internal teams (i.e., Implementations, Training, Support) on functionality being clarified and demonstrated
  • All other duties as assigned
