About The Position

The Vice President/Senior Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications will develop and execute the Company’s investor relations and corporate communications strategies as we prepare for transition to operating as a public company. The candidate will serve as a key advisor to the CEO, CFO, and the Board on investor sentiment, shareholder communications, and market positioning, and act as the primary point of contact for the investment community. In addition, the candidate will shape and communicate the corporate narrative to support the Company’s long-term growth and strategic objectives, ensuring consistent, compelling, and credible communication across all stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Significant experience leading public company investor relations and corporate communications, including public company transition
  • Proven experience interacting with or within biotechnology-focused institutional investors and/or sell-side research analysts strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex scientific and financial information clearly and effectively to investors, analysts, and executive stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of biotechnology industry dynamics, including drug development, clinical data interpretation, regulatory processes, and capital markets
  • Established relationships within the biotechnology and healthcare investment community, including institutional investors and analysts
  • Deep knowledge of SEC regulations and corporate governance practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset

  • advanced degree in Finance, Business, Communications, or a related area degree preferred (e.g., M.S., Ph.D., M.B.A.) with 20+ years of relevant experience in life sciences industry or an equivalent combination of academic and industry experience
  • This position requires periodic/regular travel, including up to 20%, which may include overnight travel

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy aligned with corporate objectives and long-term value creation
  • Build and cultivate strong relationships with the investment community to ensure accurate understanding of the Company’s strategy, clinical pipeline, and regulatory milestones
  • Organize and manage investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, analyst meetings, investor events, and other external engagement activities
  • Develop and execute an integrated corporate communications strategy that enhances the company’s visibility, credibility, and reputation
  • Prepare and oversee quarterly earnings materials, investor presentations, scripts, press releases, Q&A documents, and other external communications
  • Lead communication planning around key corporate milestones, including clinical data readouts, regulatory submissions, approvals, partnerships, and financing events
  • Monitor market trends, peer performance, analyst commentary, and investor sentiment within the biotechnology sector
  • Provide strategic insights and feedback to executive leadership and the Board regarding market positioning and investor perceptions
  • Prepare senior leadership for earnings calls, investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, and other investor interactions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance and Legal to support the timely and compliant execution of external financial disclosures and investor communications, ensuring adherence to SEC regulations, disclosure requirements, and public company best practices
  • Manage external agencies and consultants, as applicable, including budgeting and performance oversight
