About The Position

Prodia Dental is launching a new direct-to-dentist go-to-market strategy within Abrasive Technology, a manufacturer with over 55 years of experience in dental products. This role is effectively a startup within an established company, aiming to remove inefficiencies and create a more compelling value proposition for clinicians by building a direct sales model. The position offers high visibility, backing from an established manufacturer, and the freedom of a startup environment, with significant expectations for growth and impact.

Requirements

  • Deep experience in dental device or dental consumables sales
  • Understand the traditional dealer/distribution model
  • Excited by a direct-to-customer approach
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, speed, and building from scratch
  • Willing to bet on yourself with a compensation structure weighted toward performance
  • Experience leading teams but still enjoy being close to the customer and the deal

Responsibilities

  • Stand up and scale the Prodia commercial strategy (sales + marketing)
  • Lead and develop a small, high-performing team of sales and business development professionals
  • Drive direct-to-customer growth in a market traditionally controlled by distributors
  • Shape the brand, messaging, and market positioning for Prodia
  • Partner closely with executive leadership on strategy, pricing, and channel decisions
  • Present regularly to the Board of Directors on performance, strategy, and growth plans
  • Build a repeatable, scalable sales engine from the ground up
