About The Position

The Vice President Real Estate Development Consulting works in a development advisory role for clients, providing guidance on real estate positioning, financial analysis, project budgeting, acquisitions and dispositions, development strategy, due diligence, entitlements, feasibility, and partnerships. The role leads and supports projects and client relationships across public and private clients and multiple asset classes, including multifamily and mixed-use development. The position manages development projects and coordinates with developers, brokers, lenders, third-party providers, internal teams, and outside consultants. It also supports clients with early-stage strategy and economic development work, including highest-and-best-use analysis, market studies, planning, research, data collection, and economic impact analysis. Client management includes project coordination, scheduling, maintaining progress, and helping ensure successful completion. The role participates in client meetings and site visits and interacts with senior management to gather and assess information for financial analysis. This is an exempt role that may require working more than a standard 40-hour work week and some travel. Plante Moran’s “Workplace for Your Day” model emphasizes flexibility and balance while maintaining a principally in-person approach; employees work with their supervisor and team to determine the optimal work setting each day. The company describes a supportive, inclusive culture and offers eligible staff a benefits package.
