About The Position

Lafayette Federal Credit Union is seeking an Vice President, Program Delivery & Strategic Partnerships to lead enterprise program execution, implementation governance, and strategic vendor partnerships supporting the credit union’s finance and lending operations. This role is responsible for establishing scalable delivery frameworks, managing implementation timelines, overseeing partner performance, and ensuring operational initiatives are executed efficiently and measurably. The position serves as the operational owner for program delivery, implementation tracking, technology adoption, and vendor accountability across finance-related initiatives. The role emphasizes execution discipline, governance, performance measurement, and operational scalability rather than executive strategy development or enterprise coordination.

Requirements

  • Seven to ten years of related financial services, banking, program management, or operational implementation experience.
  • A master’s degree, or a bachelor’s degree plus professional certification (e.g., CPA, PMP, Agile Certification).
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across departments and external partners.
  • Strong program management and organizational skills; experience managing vendors and operational implementations; ability to develop KPIs and reporting structures; technically savvy with operational systems and workflow improvements; strong analytical and execution capabilities; attention to detail and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Lead formal program management activities for finance-related initiatives, including implementation planning, milestone tracking, resource coordination, issue management, and execution governance.
  • Oversee third-party vendor, fintech, and service-provider relationships supporting finance and lending operations, including onboarding coordination, performance monitoring, contract administration, and service-level accountability.
  • Develop and maintain standardized program governance frameworks, implementation methodologies, reporting structures, and operational controls for strategic initiatives.
  • Manage implementation activities related to financial systems, data initiatives, workflow automation, and operational technology enhancements.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, scorecards, dashboards, and reporting metrics to evaluate initiative performance, operational effectiveness, and vendor outcomes.
  • Coordinate cross-department implementation activities with Finance, Lending, Operations, IT, and external providers to ensure timely delivery and operational readiness.
  • Lead change-management activities associated with new systems, operational processes, and partner implementations, including stakeholder communication, training coordination, and adoption monitoring.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational scalability, workflow efficiency, and process standardization across finance-related functions.
  • Support operational execution associated with secondary market, capital markets, and finance transformation initiatives through implementation coordination and delivery tracking.
  • Prepare executive-level implementation reporting summarizing initiative status, operational risks, milestone progress, and delivery outcomes.
