About The Position

Provides strategic leadership of recruitment, contracting, onboarding, compensation, budgeting, and performance evaluation for 6,000+ employed physicians, faculty, and advanced practice clinicians for Jefferson Medical Group and its subsidiary medical groups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, healthcare, finance or information technology/ computer science or Master’s Degree in business administration, healthcare, finance or information technology/ computer science.
  • 10 years of experience in management.
  • 4 years of experience in a leadership role within a large medical group.
  • Knowledge of patient billing systems and terminology.

  • Physical Demands Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates activities with Human Resources and Payroll areas.
  • Develops management tools and metrics to monitor the performance of physician compensation relative to expected goals.
  • Develops processes and tools to ensure a consistent process is followed with respect to setting starting compensation for incoming providers.
  • Directs and maintains all practitioner employment arrangements based on JMG standards.
  • Directs annual performance evaluation process for physicians and advanced practice clinicians.
  • Directs the physician compensation survey process to ensure timely/accurate data for multiple national surveys.
  • Directs the workflow and approval process for JMG practitioner employment arrangements.
  • Implements processes and standards for practitioner compensation budgeting for JMG and its subsidiary medical groups.
  • Provides survey results analysis/recommendations to JMG leadership on wRVU targets and market adjustment recommendations on an annual basis.
  • Researches and identifies opportunities to enhance revenue with solid compensation policies and plans.
