About The Position

The VP, Product Owner, Digital Assets will advance TD’s Digital Assets strategy and deliver capabilities across tokenized money, blockchain-based financial infrastructure, and the broader digital asset ecosystem. Reporting to the Director & Head of Digital Assets and Emerging Payments, this role leads product ownership for Digital Assets, translating emerging technologies, market opportunities, and client needs into scalable products and capabilities. The role requires digital asset ecosystem knowledge, product leadership, and the ability to work across blockchain technology, financial services, and evolving digital asset markets.

The position owns strategic Digital Assets initiatives from discovery through implementation and scale. It works with Technology, Architecture, business, operations, and control partners to define and deliver products such as tokenized deposits, stablecoins, tokenization, blockchain-based payments and settlement, and other digital money and asset capabilities. The role also supports client pilots, ecosystem partnerships, and commercialization, while monitoring global developments for opportunities and implications for TD.

Requirements

• Demonstrated professional experience in Digital Assets, blockchain, or crypto.
• Strong knowledge of multiple areas of the Digital Assets ecosystem, including blockchain/DLT, cryptocurrencies, tokenization, stablecoins, tokenized deposits, CBDCs, digital wallets, and blockchain-based settlement infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of blockchain infrastructure and how digital assets are issued, transferred, settled, and integrated with traditional financial systems.
• Experience developing products or platforms within a Digital Assets company, fintech, blockchain infrastructure provider, financial institution, or other technology-led organization.
• Strong product ownership or product management experience, with demonstrated ability to take complex products from concept through delivery and commercialization.
• Ability to translate emerging technologies into practical products and client use cases while balancing scalability, risk, regulatory, and operational considerations.
• Strong technical fluency and ability to work effectively with engineering, architecture, and platform teams.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills, with experience working across multidisciplinary teams.

Nice To Haves

• Experience developing or delivering institutional or enterprise-grade Digital Assets products.
• Hands-on experience developing institutional Digital Assets products, tokenized money, blockchain infrastructure, or tokenization solutions.
• Experience bringing blockchain or Digital Assets capabilities from experimentation or proof-of-concept into production.
• Experience working across the traditional financial system and Digital Assets ecosystem, including integration with payments, settlement, liquidity, or other financial infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead product ownership and delivery for strategic Digital Assets initiatives from discovery through implementation and scale.
• Translate Digital Assets strategy, client needs, and market developments into product requirements, roadmaps, and delivery priorities.
• Own product scope, prioritization, sequencing, and key business decisions across assigned initiatives.
• Partner with Technology and Architecture teams to design scalable solutions integrating blockchain and distributed ledger technologies with existing financial infrastructure.
• Drive product development across tokenized deposits, stablecoins, tokenization, blockchain-based payments and settlement, and other forms of digital money and assets.
• Coordinate requirements and dependencies across business, technology, operations, and control partners.
• Support client pilots, ecosystem partnerships, and commercialization of new Digital Assets capabilities.
• Monitor developments across the global Digital Assets ecosystem and identify relevant opportunities, use cases, and implications for TD.
