About The Position

The VP, Product Owner, Digital Assets will advance TD’s Digital Assets strategy and deliver new capabilities across tokenized money, blockchain-based financial infrastructure, and the broader digital asset ecosystem. Reporting to the Director & Head of Digital Assets and Emerging Payments, the role serves as a lead Product Owner, translating emerging technologies, market opportunities, and client needs into scalable products and capabilities. The Product Owner leads strategic Digital Assets initiatives from discovery through implementation and scale, owning product scope, priorities, sequencing, and key business decisions. The role partners with Technology and Architecture teams to design scalable solutions that integrate blockchain and distributed ledger technologies with existing financial infrastructure, and coordinates requirements and dependencies across business, technology, operations, and control partners. The role drives product development across tokenized deposits, stablecoins, tokenization, blockchain-based payments and settlement, and other forms of digital money and assets. It also supports client pilots, ecosystem partnerships, and commercialization, while monitoring global Digital Assets developments to identify opportunities and implications for TD. The successful candidate brings Digital Assets expertise, technical fluency, and product leadership to help move capabilities from experimentation into scalable production solutions.

Requirements

Demonstrated professional experience in Digital Assets, blockchain, or crypto, ideally developing or delivering institutional or enterprise-grade products.
Strong knowledge across multiple areas of the Digital Assets ecosystem, including blockchain/DLT, cryptocurrencies, tokenization, stablecoins, tokenized deposits, CBDCs, digital wallets, and blockchain-based settlement infrastructure.
Strong understanding of blockchain infrastructure and how digital assets are issued, transferred, settled, and integrated with traditional financial systems.
Experience developing products or platforms within a Digital Assets company, fintech, blockchain infrastructure provider, financial institution, or other technology-led organization.
Strong product ownership or product management experience, with demonstrated ability to take complex products from concept through delivery and commercialization.
Ability to translate emerging technologies into practical products and client use cases while balancing scalability, risk, regulatory, and operational considerations.
Strong technical fluency and ability to work effectively with engineering, architecture, and platform teams.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills, with experience working across multidisciplinary teams.

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience developing institutional Digital Assets products, tokenized money, blockchain infrastructure, or tokenization solutions.
Experience bringing blockchain or Digital Assets capabilities from experimentation or proof-of-concept into production.
Experience working across the traditional financial system and Digital Assets ecosystem, including integration with payments, settlement, liquidity, or other financial infrastructure.
