About The Position

Arcadis is seeking an accomplished and visionary Vice President, Power Delivery to lead the growth, strategic direction, operational excellence, and financial performance of its Power Delivery business. The role develops and executes strategies aligned with corporate objectives, sector growth priorities, and regional business plans, strengthening Arcadis' position in transmission, distribution, substations, grid modernization, renewable integration, energy storage, and data center power infrastructure. The Vice President leads a multidisciplinary organization of technical, project management, and operations professionals, driving business development, client engagement, project delivery excellence, and profitable growth. The role partners with sector, service line, and regional leaders to identify market opportunities, expand strategic client relationships, and deliver integrated solutions for utility, energy, industrial, and data center clients. As a member of the leadership team, the Vice President fosters accountability, collaboration, technical excellence, innovation, and high performance. The role advances capabilities across transmission, substations, distribution systems, renewable generation interconnections, battery energy storage systems, and emerging electrification initiatives. Arcadis describes its work as delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
20+ years of experience within utility, power delivery, energy consulting, engineering, or infrastructure industries.
Demonstrated executive leadership overseeing large engineering, consulting, or infrastructure organizations.
Proven track record of business growth, client development, and financial management.
Significant experience with transmission, distribution, substation, and grid modernization programs.
Experience managing large multidisciplinary teams and geographically dispersed organizations.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the Power Delivery business strategy in alignment with Arcadis' corporate vision, regional growth objectives, and Energy sector priorities.
Establish long-term growth plans, market positioning strategies, and investment priorities.
Partner with sector and service line leadership to develop integrated client solutions and strategic growth initiatives.
Lead business development across key utility, energy, industrial, and data center clients.
Strengthen executive-level relationships with utilities, developers, contractors, regulators, and industry stakeholders.
Sponsor major pursuits, proposals, and contract negotiations.
Directly manage and lead Power Delivery managers, technical leaders, and business unit leaders.
Build a high-performing organization focused on engagement, accountability, and growth.
Provide executive oversight for major utility and power infrastructure programs.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably, and in accordance with client expectations.
Support project governance, risk management, quality assurance, and performance improvement initiatives.
Partner with project managers and technical leaders to address execution challenges and identify opportunities to improve delivery.
