Vice President, POM Product Owner
About The Position
We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, POM Product Owner to join our POM Product Management team. This role is located in Jersey City, NJ. In this role, you’ll make an impact by leading the development and execution of product strategies by demonstrating expertise in POM Product Management, ensuring alignment with BNY's strategic objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision and roadmap, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of product enhancements. You will drive product innovation by incorporating client feedback and industry trends, thereby enhancing product offerings and maintaining competitive advantage. You will prioritize and manage product backlog in alignment with business goals, ensuring timely and successful product releases. You will facilitate agile development processes by providing clear guidance and decision-making to ensure efficient product delivery. You will monitor product performance and metrics, using insights to drive continuous improvement and inform future product strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Typically 5-10 years of experience.
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills to drive product vision and execution.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in agile methodologies and product management tools.
- Experience with managed accounts, portfolio construction, and/or portfolio management required.
- Experience within a B2B wealth management technology firm, broker dealer, or registered investment advisor (RIA) strongly preferred.
