About The Position

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, POM Product Management to join our Conventional Trust team in New York, New York. This role will support Corporate Trust’s strategic data agenda, with a focus on foundational data elements and Enterprise data integration. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: The Vice President, POM Product Management is a pivotal role within BNY, responsible for driving product strategy and development within the Product Management function. This position aligns with BNY's strategic pillars by fostering innovation and enhancing client service through effective product lifecycle management. As an Individual Contributor, the Vice President plays a crucial role in ensuring that data product offerings meet Enterprise demands and platform leadership expectations, while upholding BNY's principles of integrity, collaboration, and accountability. Lead the development and execution of data product strategies by leveraging data expertise and insights to enhance product offerings. Support Corporate Trust’s strategic data agenda, with a focus on foundational data elements and master data integration to strengthen product enablement, consistency, and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful data product launches and continuous improvement by demonstrating effective stakeholder management. Analyze data product trends and client feedback to identify opportunities for product innovation and growth. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies by maintaining robust product governance and risk management practices. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and Enterprise partners to promote product adoption.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Typically 5-8 years of experience.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to drive data product innovation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in product lifecycle management and governance to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.

  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
