About The Position

The Vice President of Transformation is responsible for leading enterprise-wide initiatives that improve operational performance, workforce effectiveness, technology adoption, and organizational scalability across PatientCare EMS Solutions and its affiliated operating companies. This executive leader partners with Operations, Human Resources, Recruiting, Clinical Services, Finance, Information Technology, and Compliance to identify opportunities for improvement and drive strategic initiatives that enhance service delivery, employee experience, financial performance, and long-term growth. The VP of Transformation serves as a catalyst for change, leading high-impact projects from concept through implementation while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational excellence standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, Organizational Leadership, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years leading large-scale organizational transformation, operational excellence, business process improvement, or strategic initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide change initiatives and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to influence executive and operational leaders.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare, EMS, public safety, transportation, or multi-site service organizations strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, or similar methodologies preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a multi-year transformation strategy aligned with organizational goals and growth objectives.
  • Partner with executive leadership to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, profitability, and service delivery.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that drive measurable business outcomes across all operating companies.
  • Establish performance metrics and reporting structures to evaluate the success of transformation initiatives.
  • Evaluate existing operational processes and identify opportunities for standardization, automation, and improvement.
  • Lead initiatives focused on workforce optimization, deployment strategies, scheduling efficiency, and resource utilization.
  • Drive continuous improvement methodologies across field operations, support services, and corporate functions.
  • Partner with operational leaders to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with Information Technology leadership to maximize utilization of enterprise systems and technologies.
  • Lead implementation and optimization efforts related to HRIS, ATS, credentialing, workforce management, learning management, and business intelligence platforms.
  • Champion data-driven decision making through the development of dashboards, analytics, and performance reporting.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies that support operational and workforce objectives.
  • Partner with Human Resources and Recruiting leadership to improve hiring, onboarding, retention, and workforce development programs.
  • Support development of workforce pipeline initiatives, including school partnerships, scholarship programs, and career advancement pathways.
  • Lead projects designed to improve employee engagement, leadership development, and organizational culture.
  • Identify workforce trends and develop strategies to address staffing challenges across markets.
  • Lead organizational integration efforts following acquisitions and market expansions.
  • Standardize processes, systems, and reporting structures across acquired organizations.
  • Ensure alignment of operational, HR, recruiting, payroll, and compliance functions throughout integration activities.
  • Partner with executive leadership to support due diligence and transition planning activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial performance through operational efficiencies and process improvements.
  • Develop business cases, project plans, and ROI analyses for transformation initiatives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and provide executive-level reporting on project outcomes.
  • Support contract performance and strategic growth initiatives through operational innovation.
  • Lead enterprise-wide project teams and cross-functional working groups.
  • Influence organizational change through collaboration, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on organizational effectiveness and transformation strategies.
