About The Position

We are seeking a Vice President of Technology to help lead a dynamic infrastructure team that executes the organization's infrastructure strategy while ensuring stability, security, scalability, and performance of enterprise systems and networks. As a transformational leader, this role partners closely with leaders from Engineering, Software Development/Operations (DevOps), Security Operations (SecOps), and other business teams to deliver reliable technology solutions that support organizational growth and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science Information Systems or a related field required
  • 10+ years of experience in information technology infrastructure, shared services, and advanced data center management required
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing infrastructure teams and driving large-scale technology initiatives with hands-on leadership approach required
  • Proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects and managing mission-critical environments
  • Experience developing disaster recovery, business continuity, and backup strategies for enterprise organizations
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Experience managing infrastructure budgets, vendor partnerships and service providers
  • Ability to manage workload in a demanding environment to meet deadlines
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences
  • In-depth knowledge across system and network engineering in a variety of infrastructure environments
  • Ability to work in the Dallas office, as this is not a remote position
  • All applicants must be legally authorized to work in and currently reside in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Advanced certifications such as ITIL, public cloud certifications or related infrastructure certifications preferred

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with leaders from DevOps, Engineering, SecOps and other teams to drive infrastructure strategies and deployment initiatives
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on infrastructure upgrades, enhancements, and performance while ensuring cost-effectiveness and business alignment
  • Manage business continuity, disaster recovery, backup, and resilience planning initiatives
  • Establish and maintain security standards across networks, infrastructure platforms, cloud environments and server systems
  • Collaborate with network engineering leaders to develop, maintain, and continuously improve backup, business continuity, and disaster recovery strategies
  • Direct the installation, configuration, maintenance, and lifecycle management of enterprise information systems and infrastructure services
  • Oversee the management and support of core network technologies including firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, wireless access points, and associated infrastructure components
  • Refine and strengthen change management, risk management, and operational governance processes to ensure compliance and stability
  • Manage the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of various information systems
  • Build, mentor, and develop high-performing infrastructure and operations teams through strong leadership and coaching
  • Manage infrastructure budgets, vendor relationships, licensing agreements, and technology investments to maximize value and operational efficiency
