About The Position

CTP, Inc is seeking a Vice President of Software Development to lead the strategy, execution, and delivery of software engineering initiatives across the organization. This role is responsible for development standards, architecture direction, engineering leadership, and delivery pipelines while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and mission-critical systems.
Travel to the Caribbean region will likely be required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 15+ years of software development experience
• 8+ years of leadership experience managing development teams
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale software platforms
• Experience with cloud-based applications and platforms
• Strong leadership and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AWS cloud platforms
• Experience with enterprise workflow or platform systems
• Agile or Scrum leadership experience
• Master’s degree in related field

Responsibilities

• Lead software development strategy and engineering execution
• Establish development standards, architecture guidelines, and coding practices
• Manage multiple engineering teams and development managers
• Oversee software delivery pipelines and release management
• Ensure development aligns with enterprise architecture and security requirements
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement across engineering teams
• Coordinate with operations, security, and platform teams
• Manage development schedules, staffing, and resource planning
