The Vice President of Senior Living is responsible for developing and directing operations for all healthcare business units/mission lines within Senior Living as assigned. This role oversees business development, all aspects of operations, quality control including care and service delivery, and budgetary functions. The position requires leadership and oversight of Senior Living departments, focusing on quality, clinical excellence, program development, occupancy, and financial performance. It involves establishing and implementing standardized policies and procedures in compliance with state and federal laws, regulations, and accreditation standards. The VP of SL works with leadership to develop strategies for business growth and sustainability, establishing and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs). This role also involves building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, managing annual operating budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulations like COBRA/HIPAA. Additionally, the VP of SL is responsible for hiring, training, developing, supervising, and evaluating director and managerial level positions within Senior Living, and providing analysis to enhance staffing, scheduling, hiring, and retention. The role also includes coordinating operational policy development, serving as a liaison between internal staff, clinical staff, and external providers, interpreting financial reports, collaborating with IT on EMR and IT strategy, reviewing facility/agency contracts, leading projects, and participating in leadership meetings.
