Valiant Funds works with financial professionals and investors seeking alternative strategies beyond traditional equity and fixed-income markets, with a particular focus on opportunities that may provide tax-advantaged investment benefits alongside portfolio diversification and income potential. Valiant Funds is seeking an accomplished wholesaler to support the continued growth of our investment platform as Vice President of Sales. Experience with tax-advantaged investments, oil and gas, private placements, and other alternative investment strategies is strongly preferred. This role requires territory-based wholesaling and close partnership with Financial Professionals and RIAs who serve accredited investors. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in alternative investments and tax-sensitive investment strategies, a proven record of capital raising, and the ability to educate advisors on how alternative investments may fit within broader tax and wealth-planning objectives. The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for driving the distribution of Valiant Funds' investment offerings through relationships with financial advisors, RIAs, broker-dealers, and family offices. The role will focus heavily on tax-advantaged alternative investments, helping financial professionals understand investment structures and strategies that may provide tax benefits while also addressing income generation, diversification, and long-term wealth objectives. This position is ideal for a motivated wholesaler with a strong understanding of alternative investments and tax-sensitive strategies who thrives in an entrepreneurial, relationship-driven environment.

Requirements

  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, Accounting, Tax, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience wholesaling alternative investments, tax-advantaged products, private placements, or similar investment strategies required.
  • Strong understanding of tax-advantaged investments and alternative investment products.
  • Experience with oil and gas, private placements, REITs, DSTs, or other tax-sensitive investment strategies strongly preferred.
  • Existing relationships with registered representatives, RIAs, broker-dealers, and/or family offices required.
  • Proven success in capital raising, business development, and advisor relationship management.
  • Ability to communicate complex investment and tax-related concepts clearly to financial professionals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong self-management abilities.
  • Knowledge of CRM platforms and investor relationship management systems preferred.
  • Ability to work independently within a remote environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for advisor meetings, conferences, and events.

  • Develop advisor relationships focused on serving accredited investors, business owners, executives, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Identify opportunities involving oil and gas investments, private placements, and other tax-advantaged alternative strategies.
  • Conduct virtual and in-person meetings, presentations, educational sessions, and networking events.
  • Identify new business opportunities and cultivate long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Maintain consistent communication with advisors and referral partners throughout the sales process.
  • Collaborate with internal leadership, operations, and compliance teams to support advisor onboarding and relationship management.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline reporting, and sales activity tracking.
  • Represent Valiant Funds at conferences, industry events, and networking opportunities.
