About The Position
CORY is hiring a Vice President of People Operations with a strong background in multi-state HR leadership. This is an incredible opportunity for a strategic, operationally strong HR executive looking to take their career to the next level with a growing real estate organization. Our client is a well-established, multi-state real estate developer and operator with a growing footprint and an experienced People leadership team. Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including broad generalist responsibility
- Deep expertise in employee relations, employment law, performance management, and HR operations
- Experience leading Benefits and Payroll functions
- Proven ability to partner with and influence executive leadership
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Ability to work on-site in Louisville, KY, Monday–Friday
Nice To Haves
- Multi-state compliance and multi-site or hourly-workforce experience strongly preferred
- Real estate, hospitality, healthcare, or multi-unit retail backgrounds welcome
- Master’s preferred
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent preferred
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Chief People Officer to carry out the People strategy and company-wide initiatives
- Lead core HR operations: employee relations, HR business partnership, performance management, policy, investigations, and compliance
- Coach and advise leaders on employee relations, performance, conflict resolution, and change management
- Lead and develop the Benefits and Payroll teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and a strong employee experience
- Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local employment law across a multi-state footprint
- Lead complex employee relations matters and workplace investigations with discretion and sound judgment
- Improve HR processes, systems, and service delivery to support growth
Benefits
- Base salary of $190k - $225K plus a 20–25% bonus
