The Vice President of Operations will own the strategic direction, financial performance, and day-to-day execution of all facility and service operations across the organization's multi-site network. They are responsible for achieving financial objectives through KPI development, establishing benchmarks and managing the operations team to ensure success. This role involves owning the multi-site service capacity plan, governing shop build-out and expansion projects, and setting productivity, efficiency, and throughput targets by location. The VP will also set the operating model and standards for shop workflow, scheduling, and repair quality, and direct parts strategies across the network. Additionally, they will own safety and environmental performance, manage the P&L for maintenance costs and retail service, set labor rate and pricing strategy, and review monthly financial and operating performance. The role requires defining the service KPI set, reporting standards, and directing investment in predictive maintenance and analytics. Team leadership includes setting the organizational structure, hiring and developing the service leadership team, and sponsoring technician recruiting and retention strategies. The VP will also own the standard operating procedure and policy framework for service, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and serve as the operations voice on the executive team, reporting service performance and financial results to leadership and the board. Collaboration with manufacturers, vendors, and supplier partners is also key, as is improving the full-cycle customer experience.
