The Vice President of Operations and Chief Financial Officer is a key member of the President's Cabinet, providing strategic leadership for the College's operational functions. Reporting directly to the President, the Vice President/CFO oversees finance, budgeting, human resources, facilities, purchasing, risk management, marketing, auxiliary services, and capital planning. This executive ensures the responsible stewardship of resources, supports data-informed decision-making, and promotes operational excellence while advancing the College's mission and strategic priorities. The successful candidate will be a collaborative, ethical, and service-oriented leader who values transparency, accountability, and employee development. As a trusted advisor to the President and Board of Trustees, the Vice President/CFO will build strong relationships across the College and throughout the community, helping position Randolph Community College for continued growth and success. Position purpose: The Vice President of Operations and Chief Financial Officer leads the financial and operational systems that allow Randolph Community College to serve students, employees, and Randolph County. As the President’s principal financial advisor and a member of the executive leadership team, this position turns institutional priorities into sound budgets, dependable services, safe and secure facilities, and timely, efficient and effective decisions. The vice president is accountable for fiscal stewardship, transparent planning, compliance, and measurable improvement across the assigned portfolio.
