Requirements

  • At least 10 years of B2B solution-based selling experience; experience in BSCs or facilities services preferred.
  • Experience building a healthy book of business from the ground up.
  • Familiarity and agreement to manage sales pipeline within company CRM (Monday.com).
  • Must demonstrate past success with closing meaningful business on a routine basis.
  • Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • Experience in Consultative Selling; capable of understanding how to align and become a strategic solutions partner to fulfill client needs.
  • Successfully building alliances and influencing key decisions makers (at all levels).
  • Strategic sales planning and methodologies.
  • Researching and obtaining market awareness of industry and client.
  • Financial acumen in understanding operations, financial modeling, and proposal development.
  • Demonstrating competitive drive and determination, to navigate through red flags and deliver expected results.
  • Developing and executing sales processes through indirect/direct influence.
  • Demonstrating strong oral communication skills, presentation skills, and computer skills.
  • Position requires flexibility to travel, including overnight.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales process from contact through strategy, proposal, presentation, and successful conclusion for a defined market.
  • Aggressively research, identify, qualify & target potential clients and develop access strategies to initiate contact.
  • Develop & maintain relationships at the C-Suite level while understanding and communicating with prospective customers' regarding Interstate’s services and values.
  • Exercise creativity and independent judgment in developing and evaluating sales and marketing strategies in selling a broad portfolio of services within defined market.
  • Identify needs and source customer specific solutions for those needs.
  • Utilize resources from across Interstate to design and deliver customer desired outcomes.
  • Influence and collaborate with multiple team members without formal authority to achieve expected sales objectives.
  • Develop relationships with intermediaries to build a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities and awareness of capabilities.
  • Properly escalate issues that could impact local or national perceptions of Interstate as a preferred facility services provider.
  • Represent Interstate in the marketplace through various industry conferences and events.
  • Provide appropriate market and competitive information.
