About The Position

Hireology is seeking a VP of Marketing to lead the entire marketing function and drive growth aligned with business objectives. This role reports to the Chief Revenue Officer and collaborates with senior leaders to accelerate market demand in existing and new verticals. The ideal candidate will operate at the pace of innovation and elevate the marketing team's performance.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in B2B SaaS marketing
  • 5+ years leading a marketing function
  • Experience at a software company in the $50M to $100M range
  • Track record of driving material change in demand generation
  • Experience launching new markets: ICP from scratch, messaging from scratch, pipeline before brand awareness
  • Demonstrated experience building agentic or AI-enabled marketing workflows in production
  • Experience presenting marketing performance and strategy at the board level
  • Working knowledge of 6sense, HubSpot, Salesforce, and Claude
  • Communicate directly, think in revenue, bring creative energy, and make decisions backed by evidence

  • Background in vertical based marketing is a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Own pipeline contribution across all channels and ensure individual and aggregate performance.
  • Mature the account-based intent model with tighter campaigns, content, and sales handoffs.
  • Partner with Product on launch readiness, positioning, competitive intelligence, and seller enablement.
  • Develop innovative go-to-market strategies.
  • Build distinct positioning for automotive, healthcare, hospitality, and future verticals.
  • Own and update packaging and pricing strategies for maximum business upside, ensuring stakeholder alignment.
  • Build a full agentic marketing system in collaboration with Revenue Operations and MarTech partners, including content workflows, campaign automation, follow-up sequencing, and reporting.
  • Develop a measurement framework connecting marketing spend to outcomes.
  • Own reporting from team dashboards to board presentations.
  • Manage marketing spend against budgets and forecasts in coordination with Finance.
  • Oversee content strategy to drive growth and relevance with target audiences.
  • Build and formalize a lifecycle program with defined segments, journeys, and measurable outcomes.
  • Manage events and partner marketing with clear investment priorities.
  • Lead the team across Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Content, Lifecycle, Events, Partner Marketing, Visual Design, and Digital.
  • Ensure team engagement, performance management, growth, and alignment with Hireology’s Core Values.
