About The Position

HexArmor is seeking a Vice President of Manufacturing, Compliance & Integration to lead the strategic vision, execution, and continuous improvement across its global manufacturing base. Reporting to the COO and partnering closely with the executive leadership team, this leader will work directly with strategic manufacturers and HexArmor’s product development, supply chain, and finance teams to integrate and scale manufacturing interests while advancing quality and excellence throughout the supply chain. The role is onsite at HexArmor’s headquarters at 640 Leffingwell Ave. NE, Grand Rapids, Michigan. It includes international travel approximately four to six times per year, as needed, for trips lasting one to two weeks.

Requirements

15 or more years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing or supply chain.
Executive-level experience leading global strategy and initiatives.
Strong background in continuous improvement, systems implementation, and KPI-driven approaches.
Demonstrated success leading multi-site and international operations.
Ability to lead through influence and collaborate across executive teams.
Willingness to travel internationally four to six times per year, as needed, for one to two weeks at a time.
Bachelor’s degree required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Commerce, Management, Industrial Technology, or Industrial Engineering.
Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic vision and leadership for onboarding and integrating strategic suppliers.
Act as the primary point of contact with partner manufacturers on joint initiatives.
Establish best-in-class KPIs and performance measurement systems.
Drive manufacturing efficiency through process optimization and systems evolution.
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Product Development, Supply Chain, and HR.
Expand global capabilities, including capacity and efficiency across the supply base.
Work with manufacturing partners to identify talent and financial resource needs.
Provide project management and oversight for joint initiatives with manufacturing partners.
Oversee HexArmor’s quality and compliance team, building quality and compliance into early product development and manufacturing processes.
Work with the quality and compliance team to develop and implement a comprehensive supplier quality and performance program across the supply base.
Work with partner manufacturers and supply chain and finance teams to improve processes, reduce product costs and lead times, and improve financial reporting and results.
