Requirements

7 to 10 years of lending and leadership experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field
Deep understanding of the secondary market
Proven track record in first and second mortgage residential real estate lending
Proficiency in navigating lending regulations
Experience in budget management
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Thorough and detailed understanding of lending and collection/bankruptcy regulations, lien laws, and loan documentation
Punctuality and regular onsite attendance

Responsibilities

Oversees Consumer, Mortgage, and Commercial lending functions.
Leads the lending department staff through effective hiring, training, and performance management.
Collaborates in strategic planning and develops policies that comply with regulations and enhance member satisfaction.
Champions member-centric processes and leverages technology to optimize loan origination and servicing systems.
Sets target goals, provides mentoring, and monitors loan operations to achieve strategic objectives.
Stays informed on industry trends and risks to adapt lending practices.
Evaluates new lending products for competitiveness.
Oversees budget and vendor management.
Engages in cross-departmental collaboration to ensure the success of lending initiatives and drive member engagement.
