About The Position

This is a chance to put your HR leadership experience to work in a place where people truly matter. As Vice President of Human Resources, you’ll help shape the employee experience and the future of St. Camillus. You’ll work alongside executive leadership and the Board to develop people strategies that support our mission, strengthen our culture and prepare our organization for what’s next. You’ll lead the HR team, guide organization-wide talent and culture strategies, and help ensure we have the right people, structure and support in place to serve our residents and clients well. In other words: you’ll help take care of the people who take care of everyone else.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; master’s degree highly preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP strongly preferred.
  • At least 10 years of HR management experience.
  • Senior living HR experience strongly preferred.
  • Strategic HR, talent management and organizational development experience.
  • Experience leading large-scale initiatives and long-term organizational goals.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, conflict resolution, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience with HR information systems.
  • Knowledge of CMS and HIPAA requirements as they relate to healthcare employees preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the organization’s overall HR and talent strategy.
  • Partner with executive leadership to connect people strategy with our mission and long-term goals.
  • Lead succession planning and help develop the next generation of organizational leaders.
  • Shape compensation and benefits strategy.
  • Build and strengthen an organization-wide culture where employees feel valued, supported and connected.
  • Provide strategic HR guidance to executive leadership and the Board.
  • Lead, coach and develop the HR management team.
  • Provide leadership in executive and senior-level recruitment.
  • Establish meaningful HR and talent management measures and evaluate results.
  • Ensure compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety and other applicable regulations.
  • Oversee the HR and staffing budgets.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization with leaders, employees, residents, clients and community partners.
