About The Position

The Vice President of HR Operations for U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, provides strategic and operational HR leadership across a complex organization, including oversight of team member relations, workforce effectiveness, and people-related integration efforts. This role drives a strong organizational culture and meaningful work experience while building scalable, future‑ready people practices that enable growth and support the attraction and retention of top talent.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Finance, Business Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience or HR Certifications (PHR, CEBS, CMS).
  • Minimum 15 years of senior level leadership experience, preferably within multiple disciplines and proven knowledge of business strategy and core HR processes
  • Expert in scaling HR Operations with a track record of successfully leading and organizing teams in high-growth People-First environments, capable of working at a strategic level, but also ready and able to roll up one’s sleeves in addressing tactical and operational matters when needed, especially during periods of growth.
  • Adept at establishing a strategic vision based on data driven analysis of the business and legislative trends, with the ability to communicate a compelling picture of the company’s future, coaching others to understand business objectives and their role in implementing them.
  • Strong HR technology and digital skills, with a demonstrated understanding of how to leverage, streamline, and report on a HR Operations function.
  • Demonstrates financial acumen to broadly balance resources and understand the financial implications and tradeoffs of investments in every aspect of the business, including talent.
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana)

Nice To Haves

  • Human Resources or Business Management Master’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a strategic advisor, functional expert, and thought partner to the division President and Leadership Team on people, workforce, and organizational priorities.
  • Leads the HR Operations function for each division including team member relations, operational KPIs, workforce effectiveness and engagement, compliance with various employment laws and regulations, investigations of concerns/complaints, and budgets while building scalable, data-informed practices that support growth and risk management.
  • Collaborates with divisional leadership teams and site management to develop and implement business plans impacting operations, processes, customer experience, and working teams designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our divisions.
  • Continuously evaluates in partnership with Total Rewards, the division’s compensation and HR programming to ensure we are competitive, cost-effective, and delivering value in alignment with our business strategies.
  • Works with Talent Management and the division's leadership teams to establish succession and talent plants that are aligned to the strategy and objectives of the division, while providing opportunities for team members to demonstrate curiosity, support a growth mindset, develop innovation, and engage in intelligent risk taking.
  • Identify, lead, and execute divisional HR due diligence and integration activities to ensure success as we grow geographically and to grow each division’s position as a market leader to its customers and business partners.
  • Promote safety-first work environment, in partnership with the Safety Team, in support of pragmatic programs, processes, and practices that are an integral part of day-to-day operations.
  • Stays current on emerging trends, tools, and technologies - including AI-enabled solutions - that strength HR operations, improve efficiency, and enhance the team member experience.
  • Leads proactive team member relations strategies that strengthen leader capability, promote trust and engagement and mitigate labor and workforce risk across the organization.
