About The Position

The VP of Healthcare provides executive leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for the organization's integrated healthcare services. This role is responsible for the administration, management, and day-to-day operations of integrated healthcare programs, including behavioral health, physical health, vocational services, and other specialty healthcare initiatives. The Vice President partners closely with executive leadership, clinical leaders, and external stakeholders to improve quality, efficiency, patient outcomes, and organizational performance while fostering a culture of integrated healthcare.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or another related behavioral health field; or MSN; or MD/DO with significant behavioral health clinical and leadership experience.
  • Current independent professional license appropriate to discipline (with supervisory designation if applicable).
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive senior leadership or executive management experience in healthcare or behavioral healthcare.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, program development, quality improvement, and organizational leadership.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and supervision for staff assigned to integrated healthcare programs.
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure effective delivery of integrated healthcare services.
  • Monitor and improve clinical, operational, financial, productivity, and quality performance metrics.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and organizational efficiency.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO on integrated healthcare initiatives.
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders regarding program operations and healthcare integration.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Medicaid, managed care organizations, county boards, foundations, and other healthcare partners.
  • Support the development, implementation, and optimization of the Electronic Medical/Health Record (EMR/EHR) to meet regulatory and integrated care standards.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement evidence-based integrated healthcare models and best practices.
  • Lead or participate in strategic planning, administrative, and clinical meetings.
  • Partner with Executive Leadership and the Grants Manager to pursue grant funding and new program opportunities.
  • Develop community partnerships that strengthen services and expand access to care.
  • Support workforce development, including continuing education initiatives and professional training opportunities.
