About The Position

The Vice President of Growth, PTS is a senior executive responsible for driving strategic growth across the company's Federal Professional & Technical Services (PTS) portfolio, including Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Healthcare, and General Services. This executive will lead the full business development lifecycle, from opportunity identification through contract award, while building enduring relationships with federal customers, industry partners, and key stakeholders. The VP of Growth is responsible for developing and executing growth strategies that expand market share, increase contract awards, and strengthen the company's position across Civilian, DoD, and Federal Agency customers. The ideal candidate is an accomplished federal growth leader with proven success in business development, capture management, customer engagement, proposal support, and strategic planning.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in Federal Government contracting.
  • 8+ years leading business development and capture efforts for Federal Professional & Technical Services.
  • Demonstrated success winning competitive Federal contracts supporting Cybersecurity, IT, Healthcare, and Professional Services.
  • Strong understanding of the Federal acquisition process (FAR), contract vehicles, and procurement lifecycle.
  • Experience with GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, and multiple-award contract environments.
  • Proven ability to build executive-level customer relationships.
  • Experience supporting proposal development and capture management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company's overall Federal growth strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of opportunities across Professional & Technical Services markets.
  • Identify new markets, agencies, contract vehicles, and strategic partnerships that support long-term growth.
  • Monitor federal budget trends, procurement forecasts, and competitive landscapes to identify emerging opportunities.
  • Provide regular pipeline, forecast, and growth reporting to executive leadership.
  • Lead business development activities from opportunity identification through qualification.
  • Develop customer engagement strategies that increase visibility and strengthen relationships with government decision-makers.
  • Establish trusted relationships with contracting officers, program managers, senior executives, and acquisition personnel.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, customer engagements, and partner meetings.
  • Develop and manage strategic teaming agreements and industry partnerships.
  • Lead capture efforts for strategic pursuits throughout the capture lifecycle.
  • Conduct opportunity assessments, competitive analysis, win strategy development, and price-to-win activities.
  • Build capture plans and coordinate internal resources to maximize probability of win.
  • Lead gate reviews, solution development, discriminators, and customer engagement activities.
  • Coordinate with technical leadership to develop innovative, customer-focused solutions.
  • Partner with proposal managers, solution architects, pricing teams, and subject matter experts throughout proposal development.
  • Ensure proposals align with customer requirements, win themes, and capture strategies.
  • Participate in proposal reviews, color team reviews, and executive reviews.
  • Assist with technical narrative development, executive summaries, oral presentations, and customer demonstrations.
  • Support post-award transition planning when required.
  • Serve as a senior company representative to Federal customers.
  • Develop executive-level relationships across DoD, Civilian, and Federal Health agencies.
  • Maintain an active customer call plan focused on identifying mission challenges and future opportunities.
  • Gather customer intelligence that informs business strategy and opportunity positioning.
  • Strengthen the company's reputation as a trusted mission partner.
  • Lead and mentor business development and capture professionals.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Contracts, Finance, Recruiting, and Executive Leadership to ensure successful pursuit execution.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and disciplined growth.
  • Develop repeatable business development processes, metrics, and best practices.
