The Vice President, Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) serves as Inter-Con Security's senior subject matter expert and strategic advisor for security operations centers, providing enterprise-wide leadership in the design, assessment, optimization, and advancement of GSOC capabilities. This highly visible role partners with executive leadership, operations teams, and business development stakeholders to develop innovative security solutions, support complex client engagements, and strengthen Inter-Con's position as a trusted security partner. This role will provide expert guidance on GSOC strategy, governance, technology, staffing models, operational best practices, and performance standards while serving as a client-facing resource during business development pursuits, operational assessments, and strategic initiatives. Additionally, this individual will play a key role in shaping the future vision and maturity of Inter-Con's security operations capabilities, helping establish scalable programs, standards, and solutions that support organizational growth and deliver exceptional value to clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, Intelligence Studies, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 10+ years of progressive security operations experience in a Fortune 500 organization
  • Demonstrated experience managing, building, or transforming GSOC/SOC environments.
  • Experience developing operational standards, procedures, performance metrics, and governance programs.
  • Experience leading security operations teams in complex corporate, enterprise, government, or critical infrastructure environments.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and clients.
  • Experience supporting client-facing engagements, presentations, and strategic discussions.
  • Ability to assess operational gaps and develop scalable solutions.
  • Ability to travel as needed

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Inter-Con's enterprise GSOC subject matter expert.
  • Advise executive leadership on GSOC strategy, operational models, staffing, technology, and performance metrics.
  • Evaluate, audit, and assess existing client SOC/GSOC environments and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Support new business pursuits by participating in client presentations, proposal development, solution design, and operational discussions.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Business Development, and Executive Leadership teams to develop security operations solutions for current and prospective clients.
  • Establish best practices, SOPs, KPIs, reporting standards, and governance frameworks for GSOC operations.
  • Recommend and evaluate technologies, platforms, and tools supporting modern GSOC operations.
  • Assist in the design, development, and maturation of Inter-Con's internal GSOC capabilities.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to operational leaders supporting complex security programs.
  • Lead and mentor future GSOC personnel, managers, analysts, and support staff as the function grows.
  • Travel to client and company locations as required.
