About The Position

Connectbase is hiring a Vice President of Finance to own financial planning, analysis and commercial finance, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. The role complements an accounting team led by the Controller, adding deep FP&A expertise and hands-on operating partnership. The position translates the company’s growth strategy into an executable financial plan intended to improve recurring revenue growth, retention, gross margin, EBITDA and cash generation, while building the models, analysis and reporting needed to support decisions. Connectbase is a private equity-backed B2B SaaS and data platform serving network providers, partners and enterprise buyers. The Vice President owns financial planning and analysis, including the annual operating plan, long-range plan, rolling forecasts and integrated financial model. The role partners across the business on budgets, capacity, commercial decisions, investment analysis and cash management; provides management, board and sponsor reporting; and owns the finance workstream for acquisitions and post-close integration. The role also partners with the Controller on accounting-related matters while preserving the Controller’s ownership of accounting execution, audits and tax delivery. This is an individual-contributor role with no direct reports. The position reports to the COO, participates in Board and Audit Committee meetings, and shares accountability for company performance with the leadership team. The role is based in Westborough, Massachusetts, with regular headquarters presence expected; other locations may be considered. Travel is as required.
