About The Position

Provide leadership and coordination of company financial planning, debt financing, revenue audit, tax payment, and accounting & reporting functions. Ensure company accounting procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles, Nevada MICS, and federal regulations.

Requirements

• Strong background in automated accounting and control systems.
• Excellent computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple tasks.
• College degree with a major in Business, Finance or Accounting; or a minimum 5 years of gaming accounting experience.
• State of Nevada Gaming Permit
• Valid Driver’s License
• D.M.V. Driving History Printout (no more than 30 days old)
• Proof of Unexpired Personal Vehicle Insurance Coverage
• Minimum age requirement: 21 years old

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the finance department.
• Manage the treasury function to ensure payment obligations are met while minimizing interest and bank fee costs.
• Monitor and forecast compliance with debt covenants.
• Manage the preparation of the daily, monthly and annual financial reporting.
• Assist with the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts.
• Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget.
• Hire, train, supervise, lead, develop, motivate, schedule, evaluate, coach, and discipline team members.
• Provide support to management for accounting issues and concerns.
• Prepare schedules requested for the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely payment.
• Verify the accuracy of the data transmitted to the financial reporting systems.
• Maintain company license and entity information with relevant authorities.
• Other job related duties as assigned and instructed by management.
• Volunteer to assist fellow team members when necessary while meeting your deadlines.
• Demonstrates initiative by finding ways to improve current process while keeping department compliant and legal.
• Foster positive interactions and trust with internal and external customers.
