About The Position

This role is responsible for developing and executing a cohesive commercial strategy across three distinct market segments: appliance, heavy truck, and automotive. The Vice President of Commercial will own customer relationships with key OEM and Tier 1 suppliers, serving as the senior point of contact for commercial negotiations, pricing, program awards, and issue resolution. This position will lead and develop a high-performing sales organization, including account management, business development, and application engineering support. Collaboration with global product and operations teams is essential to support profitable growth, margin optimization, and long-range planning. The role requires maintaining a pulse on market trends, competitive positioning, and future technologies to inform product and business strategy. Additionally, the position will drive disciplined sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting, as well as assess and optimize the structure of the commercial organization to meet short- and long-term business needs. A key responsibility includes developing annual business plans for target customers with detailed action plans, and communicating closely with the customer, engineering, and inside sales from quoting through APQP and launch of new products. The role also involves close communication with senior managers to ensure organizational goals align with overall business strategy and participation in strategic and long-term planning. Developing a knowledge of AmTrim’s products and technology capabilities is also required.

Requirements

  • Experience in commercial strategy development and execution.
  • Proven ability to own customer relationships with key OEM and Tier 1 suppliers.
  • Experience in commercial negotiations, pricing, program awards, and issue resolution.
