About The Position

Supportive Concepts for Families is seeking an experienced clinical leader to oversee behavioral health, interdisciplinary clinical services, nursing collaboration, and strategic clinical partnerships supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Pennsylvania. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this executive leadership position provides strategic and operational oversight of behavioral supports, interdisciplinary clinical teams, restrictive intervention programs, and affiliated clinical partnerships while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered clinical services. The Vice President of Clinical Services serves as the organization's senior clinical executive responsible for the strategic direction, oversight, and integration of behavioral health, interdisciplinary clinical services, nursing collaboration, and affiliated clinical partnerships. This position ensures person-centered, evidence-based, and regulatory-compliant clinical services while promoting the health, safety, dignity, and rights of every individual supported. Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and executive leadership team, the Vice President provides organizational leadership that advances quality outcomes, strengthens clinical operations, and supports the organization's mission of delivering exceptional care.

Requirements

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive clinical leadership experience.
  • Executive or senior leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Positive Behavior Support, Human Rights, restrictive procedures, and interdisciplinary care.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary clinical teams.
  • Strong understanding of Pennsylvania ODP regulations and clinical compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Nice To Haves

  • MSW, RN, or Related Clinical License Preferred
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Nursing, Psychology, Counseling, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Clinical licensure strongly preferred (RN, LCSW, LPC, BCBA, PsyD, or other applicable clinical license).

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive leadership for the organization's clinical services strategy.
  • Lead the Behavioral Support Program (BSP) and interdisciplinary clinical initiatives.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based clinical practices across residential services.
  • Standardize clinical processes and promote continuous quality improvement.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to improve clinical outcomes and organizational performance.
  • Provide executive oversight for: Behavior Support Plans (BSP), Restrictive Procedure Plans (RPP), Positive Reinforcement Programs (PRN), Desensitization Plans, Maladaptive Behavior Plans, Crisis intervention strategies, Behavioral data analysis, Clinical outcome monitoring.
  • Ensure behavioral supports are person-centered, clinically appropriate, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and facilitate: Clinical Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), Human Rights Committee, Restrictive Procedure Committee, Behavioral Review Committee, Clinical Case Reviews.
  • Collaborate with: Community Health Nurses, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Physicians, Behavioral Specialists, Therapists, Operations Leadership, Quality & Compliance Leadership.
  • Provide executive oversight of affiliated clinical partnerships and contracted clinical services.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with physicians, psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists, behavioral specialists, and other healthcare providers.
  • Ensure coordinated, high-quality clinical services across residential programs.
  • Evaluate clinical partnerships to promote quality, consistency, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with: Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS), Office of Developmental Programs (ODP), CMS regulations, ICF/IID standards (where applicable), Human Rights regulations, Behavioral documentation standards, Clinical documentation requirements, Organizational policies and accreditation standards.
  • Recruit, hire, mentor, and supervise clinical professionals.
  • Provide executive oversight for Community Health Nursing in collaboration with Operations leadership.
  • Develop clinical policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Monitor organizational quality indicators and clinical outcomes.
  • Lead clinical education and professional development initiatives.
  • Provide expert consultation to executive leadership on behavioral health and clinical operations.
