About The Position

The Vice President of Clinical Services provides strategic and operational leadership for clinical services and care delivery across a continuum of services for older adults, including long-term care, assisted living, memory care, home and community-based services, and wellness programs. This role ensures advancing high-quality, person-centered care, regulatory compliance, operational effectiveness, and strong clinical outcomes while supporting organizational growth and innovation in aging services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing
  • Demonstrated success in clinical services, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, team leadership and growth.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the states of MN, ND, and NE.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive clinical leadership in aging services (e.g., long-term care, assisted living, home health, hospice)
  • Multi-site leadership experience

Responsibilities

  • Designs, delivers, and evaluates clinical processes that incorporate quality improvement and compliance program standards aimed at developing the culture and competencies necessary to achieve clinical objectives.
  • Provides support within survey preparedness and in reducing risk in all services.
  • Supports campus efforts of the QAPI programs and ensures appropriate level of training, mentoring, and consultation is provided to each campus in collaboration with the Director of Clinical Services.
  • Promotes delivery of high quality care through leadership and development of organizational quality and resident safety goals. Regularly assess QAPI committee’s performance and develops and updates a data-driven QAPI plan at least annually.
  • Provides statistical analysis, work process analysis, project scheduling, root cause analysis and benchmarking expertise for quality improvement initiatives across the organization.
  • Ensures appropriate systems are in place to track and report on all core measures and facilitates ongoing monitoring, evaluation and reporting of customer satisfaction and resident services incidents; interfaces with residents and families to ensure that care is consistent with their expectations.
  • Develops and oversee systems that ensure compliance with established standards of practice, applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Serves as the organization’s lead on infection control practices, reviews and updates related policies and procedures based on best practice, monitors infection control data surveillance, and provides direction to ensure standardized campus staff orientation and education on related infection control.
  • Provides support to campus performance improvement projects based on needs identified through data monitoring and analysis and satisfaction survey results. Partners with campus resident service teams to support quality projects and initiatives.
  • Contributes to campus level direct care employee relations, including hiring, retention, training, and disciplinary needs in areas of expertise as required.
  • Directs review of compliance issues to ensure consistent resident services throughout organization and maintains the Eventide standard across the organization.
  • Advises Executive Team on performance measurements, risk assessments and initiatives related to QAPI and compliance.
  • Supports the creation and maintenance of a professional environment that fosters a commitment to excellence. Assist in creating a strong professional relationship with all Eventide campus and contribute to a consistent corporate culture across the organization.
  • Leads the organization as a champion for the resident experience and directly impacts resident satisfaction through clinical program design and delivery.
  • Develops and implements the organization’s systems that ensure compliance with established Eventide standards or practice and applicable state and federal laws and regulations. Communicates regularly with Executive Team and Campus Leadership.
  • Develops corporate compliance and risk management systems, including HIPAA related systems and ensures alignment from the clinical perspective with overall corporate compliance programming.
  • Develops and distributes data reports to inform and ensure Executive Team is knowledgeable in all areas.
  • Develops clinical software support system.
