About The Position

CORY is hiring a strategic, results-driven VP of Asset Management in Brooklyn, NY. This is a unique opportunity to report directly to the CEO and drive performance across a growing national multifamily portfolio. Our client is a vertically integrated real estate investment and management platform that acquires, repositions, and operates conventional multifamily properties nationwide.

Requirements

10+ years of real estate asset management, including 5+ in a senior or supervisory role
Conventional multifamily experience required; multi-market U.S. experience strongly preferred
Advanced financial modeling and underwriting skills (Excel/ARGUS); Yardi or RealPage experience
Working knowledge of debt structures, loan covenants, and JV reporting
Strong communicator who can present and influence at the CEO and ownership level
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or related field

Responsibilities

Set asset-level business plans, including hold/sell, repositioning, and value-add strategies
Own budgets, reforecasts, and long-range projections to drive NOI and cash flow
Hold property management teams accountable to leasing, pricing, and expense targets
Underwrite and manage capital projects, renovations, and unit upgrades
Partner with Capital Markets on refinancings, debt compliance, and lender reporting
Support acquisitions and dispositions through diligence, underwriting, and transition
Prepare investor, ownership, and lender reporting
Lead and develop a team of two Asset Managers
