Iron Mountain Media & Archive Services (MAS) is the leading global physical and digital media archiving service for the entertainment industry. We provide world-class expertise and technology in media preservation, restoration, and distribution to protect, preserve, and maximize the value of entertainment assets for studios, sports organizations, media companies, record labels, and advertising agencies worldwide. The business unit is committed to secure storage and preservation across the entire asset lifecycle, including climate-appropriate storage and logistics, analog/physical format remediation, digitization, digital preservation, and global distribution. Reporting directly to the SVP, Marketing, the Vice President, Media & Archive Services serves as the global business owner with end-to-end accountability for a $74M P&L across multiple global centers. Leading a team of 5 direct reports and a total staff of 250, this executive sets and drives the strategy responsible for the overall success of Iron Mountain’s Global MAS business, encompassing revenue, growth, solutioning, service delivery, and EBITDA across the entire suite of offerings. The VP acts as a critical cross-functional orchestrator, partnering with HR, IT, Finance, Solutioning, Implementation, and Product Management to align near-term customer needs with long-term regional and global strategies.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience within media archiving, technology-led services, or corporate information management fields (preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience managing a P&L of similar scope, size, and global complexity, with a clear focus on market-facing capabilities.
  • Proven track record of building successful short- and long-term business plans that drive operational excellence and commercial growth.
  • Strong background in talent development, succession planning, contingency planning, and creating positive, inclusive cultures that scale leadership capabilities.
  • Experience in independent decision-making, supporting large customer groups, and directing highly visible, multi-region projects.
  • General Management Mindset: Proven ability to balance revenue growth creation with disciplined strategic execution.
  • Executive Presence: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and lead large, diverse, and highly technical teams.
  • Advanced Financial & Business Acumen: Highly skilled in analyzing complex financial statements, forecasting performance, measuring to budget, and evaluating internal rates of return.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the performance of all MAS operations, including customer KPIs for on-time performance, quality, and any other pertinent measurements required by Iron Mountain customer agreements.
  • Identifying root causes of delivery issues, identifying appropriate remediation, and overseeing the remediation activities in the regions through Operational Excellence and Production Management & Cross Functional Coordination.
  • Responsible for the financial planning and performance of MAS Operations across the globe, including financial forecasting and delivering the financial results expected by the business.
  • Managing financial performance of the five operating regions through analysis of trends and monitoring of P&L.
  • Developing and executing appropriate plans to achieve targets based on current performance and forecasted trends.
  • Developing gap plans to minimize risk of missing financial objectives and managing annual operating and capex budgets consistent with market strategy.
  • Increasing market share and improving profitability by pricing and structuring deals to acquire new business with the objectives of maintaining a high rate of growth, favorable internal rate of return, and economic margin.
  • Driving revenue growth for each region by partnering with sales teams in developing, identifying, and implementing marketing and selling strategies.
  • Ensuring SLAs are met and developing relationships with top customers (strategic, multi-city, and large local) in partnership with sales and customer service teams.
  • Participating in key account renewals with authority to sign contracts.
  • Working closely with sales/account management on opportunities and on removing obstacles to expedite revenue generation.
  • Driving initiatives within the regions and participating in regional acquisitions.
  • Teaching operations management resources and lending experience to build scale and develop talent.
  • Identifying high-potential talent for stretch assignments or expanded roles.
  • Succession and contingency planning.
  • Organizational structure oversight, employee development, and creating a positive and inclusive work environment.
