About The Position

The Vice President of Lab Quality serves as a business partner to Regional Presidents, reporting to the Chief Quality Officer. This executive role provides strategic leadership and oversight for quality and regulatory compliance functions across traditional and esoteric laboratories. The primary responsibility is to ensure all tests and services meet and exceed customer expectations and regulatory requirements. The VP of Lab Quality will foster a culture of continuous improvement, overseeing the development and implementation of a global quality management system aligned with Quest Quality System Elements and Core Processes. This position has direct responsibility for quality across all regional labs and ensures compliance with CAP/CLIA regulations. Additionally, the VP of Lab Quality will manage dotted-line reports from other business units to ensure enterprise-wide quality alignment.

Requirements

  • Executive leadership experience in quality and regulatory compliance within laboratories.
  • Experience with CAP/CLIA regulations.
  • Experience developing and implementing quality management systems.
  • Ability to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Experience partnering with business leaders.
  • Must be near site to one of Quest Diagnostics hub locations.

  • Experience in traditional & esoteric laboratories.
