About The Position

HPS Investment Partners, now part of BlackRock, is seeking a Vice President level candidate to join the Investment Data Management team based in New York, NY, to support the Private Financing Solutions (PFS) platform. The Investment Data Management team is responsible for the accurate and timely entry of all data-related items across the firm, ensuring their proper flow and representation in downstream systems and reporting. This role involves close collaboration with front office, back office, and infrastructure teams to ensure data accuracy from initial setup through final output and process improvement.

Requirements

Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or business related field.
6-10 years of experience in financial services industry, asset management preferred.
Knowledge of bank loan products; Broadly Syndicated and Private.
Proficient in Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Asset creation and maintenance across multiple asset classes (including but not limited to Bank Loans, Bonds, MBS/RMBS, Equities, Forwards, Options) in the firm’s Security Master.
Analyze credit agreements on a daily basis.
Reference data creation and maintenance in the firms Reference Master system.
Maintain and monitor the data exception panel that reconciles vendor data feeds to internal data warehouse.
Investigate & resolve any attribute discrepancies that may arise between data vendors internal systems.
Daily interaction with Vendors, Risk, Technology, and Front Office teams to ensure proper creation of assets across the platform.
Creation and maintenance of internal strategies, UDF tags as well as clearing/executing broker accounts within firm systems.
Mentor Junior people on the team.
Identify and implement process enhancements to the security master and related systems.
