Wells Fargo is seeking a Vice President to join the Energy & Power group focused on IPP & Thermal Generation transactions. In this role, you will execute capital markets and M&A transactions for our corporate clients, present complex ideas and analyses to internal and external parties, generate strategic content, including industry analysis and product-specific concepts, coordinate deliverables with internal product partners, and manage day-to-day project workflows.

Requirements

5+ years of Investment Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire.

Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

Experience with transactions in the IPP/Thermal Generation space
Large acquisition financing experience
Company or asset sellside and buyside experience
