About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President to lead our dynamic Insurance team in Dallas, TX. This role involves serving as a visible leader for the internal insurance team, fostering collaboration and team-building, and mentoring team members. The position is responsible for training, overseeing, and quality checking the work of Account Executives (AEs), and effectively distributing workload across servicing teams. Key duties include reviewing account receivable (A/R) reports, business development reports, and other critical business documents for accuracy. The Vice President will represent American Global in various external engagements such as meetings, seminars, trade shows, networking events, industry associations, organizations, boards, and charities, and may author articles. Cultivating strong carrier relationships at leadership levels is crucial to support company visibility and credibility in the construction insurance marketplace. The role also requires achieving new business sales goals, retaining a minimum of 95% of the individual book of business year over year, and managing C-suite client relationships and overall client satisfaction. Clear communication of client needs to the account management team and cultivating relationships with centers of influence (attorney partners, bankers, CPAs) are essential. The Vice President will clearly promote American Global’s competitive differentiation in presentations, support the team in responding to RFPs, and maintain ongoing communication with clients and industry partners to ensure a high level of customer service. Maintaining insurance license and CE requirements are also part of the responsibilities.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in the sales discovery process (due diligence)
  • Maintain insurance license & CE requirements
